Our client is a successfully operating and economically sound, mid-size German company. In one of their business units, they develop, manufacture and distribute high quality technical seals/sealing technology. Their customers are companies in, for example, machine building, mechanical and plant engineering, the chemical and food industry, power plant technology, heating and air conditioning technology, the energy sector and also technical trading companies. Senior Sales Manager (m/f)

International /Sealing Technology
Your Job Responsibilities:
  • Development of international sales activities— active acquisition of new customers and expansion of the sales organisation
  • Manage and further develop existing customer relationships; handling of key accounts
  • Responsibility for sales and profit, budget planing and control and sales controlling; participation in strategy planing
  • Management and development of your sales team (approx. 12 — internal sales employees and field sales representatives, nationally and internationally)
  • Close cooperation with R&D, production and logistics departments
  • Reporting to the head of the business unit
Your Qualifications:
  • Degree in a technical/engineering or natural science field OR extensive professional training in one of those fields
  • Several years of international B2B sales experience with technologically complex products
  • Experience in one of the fields of sealing technology applications - for example: pumps, compressors, vacuum technology, hydraulic or pneumatic systems, valves, fittings, fluid technology, turbines, power plants, etc...
  • Leadership experience
  • Readiness to travel worldwide; fluent business German and English
  •  Persuasive, business-minded sales professional with a methodical and results-oriented approach; strong communication and negotiation skills
